preparation. Recently revised, it includes special subset questions:
questions for interfaith marriages, second marriages, and cohabiting
couples.

A divorce prevention and marriage strengthening
strategy for the 21st Century
Couples in distress need more options than continued misery or divorce.
Learn a technique to help ambivalent couples reclaim their marital commitment.
This two part workshop will give you the "missing link" to help
distressed couples.
Part I will orient you to the process of Divorce Prevention. The
four-hour workshop will include a video demonstration, a workbook with
strategies and techniques, small group activities and lecture on the process.
Part II will be a Practicum where you will return to discuss your
own experience with this process and gain group input on applying the
technique learned in Part I.
Who should attend: Pastoral Counselors, Clergy,
Social Workers, Psychologists, Licensed Professional Counselors, Family Law
Attorneys, Mediators.

Counselor, Marriage and Family Educator or Minister, Resource Provider, Author,
Trainer and Lay Person who serves the Lord in Marriage and Family Ministry.
AMFM has been founded to serve those in Marriage and Family
Ministry and will do so by listening to their needs, effectively serving those
needs and building our leadership teams through our membership.
AMFM's goal is to showcase the finest in Marriage and Family resources by
partnering with the experts (individuals, ministries and organizations) in
Marriage and Family Ministry today and those that are emerging with new and
creative ideas.
The Coalition for Marriage, Family and Couples Education serves as an information exchange and clearinghouse to help couples locate marriage
and relationship courses; to help mental health professionals, clergy, mentor couples and lay educators locate training programs and
resources; to connect those with an interest in the continuing development of the field;
to support community initiatives, legislation and research; and to promote the effectiveness of the courses and increase their availability
in the community.
The Coalition is non-denominational, non-partisan, and non-sectarian
and is supported solely by the proceeds of the annual conference. Conference presenters volunteer their time and expertise.
The National
Association of Catholic Family Life Ministers (NACFLM) is a growing association
of professional ministers within the Catholic Church who work with, for and
beside families.
NACFLM began in 1980 with the implementation of the United States Catholic
Conference of Bishop's "Pastoral Plan for the Family" and the
beginning of the decade of the Family. NACFLM was born in the dedication of
church ministers, primarily those engaged in Marriage Preparation and Enrichment
throughout the Catholic Church in the United States.
NACFLM is subdivided into 13 regions (based on the regions of the USCCB),
along with Diocesan and Parish Representation.
